BT River of Music Festival, London 22 July
The Alif Ensemble will be premiering in London as part of the BT River of Music festival on Sunday 22nd July. The BT River of Music festival, which is a highlight of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad events, will feature musicians from all the competing olympic countries and the Alif Ensemble will be representing Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt.
Their performance will be on the Asia Stage at Battersea Park alongside Arun Ghosh Arkestra Makara, In Transit ft Transglobal Underground, Kronos Quartet, Vân-Ánh Vanessa Võ, Youth Music Voices and Zakir Hussain.

Residency at The Friary, Liverpool
